SIR SYED SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR BOYS has
been sponsored by the Aligarh Old Boys Association, Rawalpindi, was
formally launched in September, 1989 and has reached the present status
through a process of evolution.
Sir Syed Science College for Boys offers quality science education to
students and prepares them for Board examination in the
Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science groups and other
disciplines. The College is permanently affiliated to the Federal Board
of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad.
Establishment of Sir Syed Science College for Boys aims at providing wholesome science education to youth in order to equip them with knowledge and skills to enable them to play a constructive role in the society. The College endeavours to instil in them universal islamic values, love for their culture, nation and heritage, pride in their past and hope in the future. It strives to produce youth with a balanced personality and individuals of unquestionable integrity, selfless devotion and a high sense of discipline and duty.
The College is located in a separate Academic Block adjacent to the Sir Syed Hall, in the Education Complex of the Association at the Tipu Road, Rawalpindi.
The Principal of the College runs the administration according to the rules and regulations issued by A.O.B.A. from time to time. However, administration of the institution is allowed to observe instructions of the Govt. of the Punjab, received through the Director of Education, Rawallpindi/ Islamabad, regarding pay scales, leave rules and service rules issued from time to time.
